Who We Are

We are an association of neighbors in the Orchard Hills-Maplewood subdivisions in Northeast Ann Arbor.

The purposes of the association are:
  • To represent the interests of the majority of the residents
  • To promote the health welfare and safety of the residents
  • To prevent neighborhood deterioration
  • To provide information and education to all residents
  • To lessen tensions and promote harmony among the residents

Special Features of Our Neighborhood

  • Sugarbush Park – a lovely park in three parts
  • Thurston Nature Center – a beautiful nature area
  • OHAC Pool – a neighborhood pool
  • Excellent Public Schools:
    • Thurston Elementary School
    • Clague Middle School
    • Huron High School
  • Easy walking or biking to retail stores

Membership:

WHY JOIN OHMHA?
Membership is voluntary, but your dues directly support our neighborhood by financing such projects as entryway landscaping and signage, newsletters, website costs, garage sale publicity, fall festival, maintaining a legal fund, and so on.

MEETINGS:
Board meetings are open to the public, and your participation is welcomed. OHMHA aims to maintain and improve our neighborhood and to help with community issues. DUES: After June 1, we will be accepting dues ($20) for the next fiscal year (6/1-5/31). Click here for the membership form.

All residents who live within our boundaries are members of OHMHA upon payment of annual dues.
